ProRes RAW HQ per hour, by camera
Values per camera in its widest recording mode. A 16:9 or 2.39 crop uses fewer pixels and shrinks the files in proportion — a 4K 16:9 mode on a 4.6K open-gate sensor saves roughly a quarter.
| Camera | Pixels | 24 fps | 25 fps | 30 fps | 50 fps | 60 fps |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DJI Ronin 4D 6K | 6008 × 3168 | 1.30 TB | 1.35 TB | 1.62 TB | 2.71 TB | 3.25 TB |

How long a card lasts
Minutes of recording per card (DJI Ronin 4D 6K, 25 fps). The last column is the time a DIT needs to copy that card once to an NVMe SSD at a sustained 850 MB/s, plus a verification pass.

Frequently asked
How much storage does one hour of ProRes RAW HQ need?
It depends on the camera’s recording mode. In the DJI Ronin 4D 6K at full resolution and 25 fps: 1.35 TB. The table above lists every camera.
Why does my card show less space than its label?
Cards are labelled in decimal units (1 TB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes); some operating systems count in binary units and show about 931 GB for a 1 TB card. The numbers on this page are decimal, like the label.
